The Harley Owners Group (HOG) is all about community, camaraderie, and the thrill of the open road. At Morgan & Wacker Harley-Davidson Sydney, we’re proud to partner with the NSW HOG Chapter to bring riders together through our Open Rides in conjunction with the HOG’s New Member rides. These rides happen on the first Saturday of every month. These rides are designed to welcome new HOG members into the fold, introduce them to the riding community, and help them feel at home on two wheels. But here’s the best part – these rides aren’t just for new HOG members. Anyone who loves to ride is welcome to join!

Since opening our doors in Sydney, Morgan & Wacker Harley-Davidson has been committed to building strong relationships with the local riding community. The partnership with the NSW HOG Chapter has gone from strength to strength, creating more opportunities for riders to connect, ride, and celebrate the Harley-Davidson lifestyle.
This collaboration is more than just about rides; it’s about creating an environment where riders of all levels feel supported. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or someone who’s just started their Harley-Davidson journey, you’ll find a place in this growing community. Through these Open Rides, HOG members and non-members can experience the best roads the Sydney region has to offer while building lasting friendships along the way.

Open Rides are designed to give you first-hand experience of what the HOG community is all about and how group riding works in a relaxed and controlled environment. Come along to meet other members, connect with Chapter Officers and store staff, learn about group ride guidelines, and enjoy a guided ride to see it all in action.
What to Expect on an Open Ride
Each First Saturday of the Month, we kick things off at Morgan & Wacker Harley-Davidson Sydney with a briefing and introduction. It’s the perfect chance to meet fellow riders and chat with our team before hitting the road.
The rides are beginner-friendly and designed for riders of all levels. Each ride is led by experienced HOG Chapter members who ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The route varies each month but is typically a 1.5-hour local loop ride that returns to the dealership.
Ride Schedule:
- 9:00 AM – New Members & Visitors: Meet Chapter Officers for an introduction to the Chapter and an overview of group riding.
- 9:45 AM – All Riders: The Lead Road Captain provides details on the ride route.
- 10:00 AM – Stands Up & Ride Departs
- After the Ride – BBQ at the dealership on selected ride days! Keep an eye on our announcements for upcoming BBQ dates!

Join us for a fantastic ride as Mike (The Reverend) leads his first ride, supported by his Shotgun, Dean (The Fox). Departing from Morgan & Wacker Harley-Davidson Sydney, we’ll cruise through Sydney’s northern suburbs before taking on the iconic Old Pacific Highway, heading to our destination—Saddles Restaurant at Mount White.
